Quick-fried prawns. I love seafood so when I decided to cook a special Chinese style dinner the other day I had to have at least one seafood dish. I chose this as the entree and I didn't receive any complaints!
Shell and de-vein the prawns but leave the tails on (this takes a little while so make sure you allow enough time). Place the prawns in a bowl with the remaining ingredients (don't put the garnish in though!) and leave to marinate for about 30 minutes. Heat a wok (gas is your friend here!) and add the prawns and their marinade. Stir fry briefly to heat the prawns through (remember, they are already cooked). Chop the spring onions roughly and sprinkle over the prawns to serve. |
